The VW California Coast was first introduced by VolksWagen to offer a more affordable alternative to the California Ocean.
The Coast offers travel and sleeping solutions for up to four people, with the two front passenger seats swivelling 180 degrees to face inwards, this provides a cosy and relaxing lounge space with the rear bench seat easily converting into a bed.
On the way out of the factory our California Coast was able to collect some extras that means your stay is as comfy as possible.
The van has a lift up roof which reveals an upper bed area with a comfortable mattress to give you both privacy and a restful night’s sleep.
The van also comes fully equipped with a fridge, sink and gas stove along with storage for both food and other essentials. There are also multiple USB ports so you can charge all your devices as well as a power socket meaning you can run any of your appliances.
With many similarities to the Ocean the Coast offers a similar camping experience with a few lower cost alternatives such as a manual pop up roof instead of automatic. Both Volkswagen camper vans have the same essential features, including kitchen cupboards, wardrobe, a fridge and gas burner.
The California Coast, like all our campervans available to hire, comes fully equipped with everything you could need for a campervan escape, we will provide you with a suggested packing list when you book.
For simplicity our current booking system allows for renting and returning vans on Fridays or Mondays with long weekends also being available. To book the California Coast we would simply need a fully refundable deposit which will need to be paid prior to taking the vehicle.
